About The Event
The name “Well-O-Rama” comes from a historical event that started in 1968 as a celebration of the completion of Highway 1, and the paving of Cleveland Avenue. The original event included a parade, bike races, sack races, a pie eating contest and a slipper-kicking contest. Arts, crafts, all kinds of food, and antique vehicles were on display, and variety shows included musical acts, street dancing, singing and more. The event expanded over the years to become a three-day festival, including fashion and motorcycle shows, tractor pulls, carnivals, a Miss Well-O-Rama pageant, and a beard growing contest. It went on for a decade before coming to an end around 1980.
Team registration is open now to compete in the WELL-O-RAMA Games! Who can kick their slippers the furthest? Who has the longest beard? Who can win the bragging rights as Well-O-Rama royalty? We are inviting businesses and community groups to organize teams to compete for the top prizes as an ode to the competitions that occurred in Well-O-Rama festivals of the past. Additional details on the games and schedule will be delivered as we get closer to the event. With team registration, you get free tickets to the event! A team can consist of up to 4 members. All games are family friendly.
VENDOR INFORMATION
We are now accepting applications to be a vendor at this year’s Well-O-Rama Music Festival. We have limited space and vendors will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All vendor spots are limited to 10×10 space. Additional details are available on our registration page.
